The
'Van Houttei' Spiraea has a fountain like shape with arching branches that curve
to the ground. The bluish-green foliage occasionally has a hint of purple
in the fall. The numerous small white flowers appear in April or May and
are very showy. The 'Van Houttei' is very hardy and one of the more
popular varieties of Spiraea.
