-X 'Soulangiana'

The Soulangiana Magnolia is a large spreading shrub with a medium growth rate.  The deep green leaves come to a point and appear after the flowers in early spring.  This 'Saucer Magnolia' has perfect 5-10" white flowers flushed with a purplish-pink on the outside of the petals. 

Bloom Time:  Early Spring (March/April).

Growth Habit:  20-30' in height, same width.

Foliage:  Deep green, appear after the flowers in early spring.

Sun/Shade:  Sun, Partial Shade.

Hardiness Zones:  5-9.
