'Hino Crimson'

When Azaleas bloom, the flowers are so profuse the entire plant is blanketed with color.  The leaves are usually small, narrow and pointed, often with small hairs on the edges.  The 'Hino Crimson' Azalea is a low-growing, compact plant with small, glossy, dark green leaves that turn bronze in the winter.  The single flowers are a brilliant, non-fading crimson. 

Bloom Time:  Early Spring.

Growth Habit:  Compact, 3-5' in height.

Foliage:  Glossy, Dark green.

Sun/Shade:  Sun, Partial Shade.

Hardiness Zones:  4-10.
