The 'Gumpo Pink' is one of the more common of the Satsuki Azaleas, which come from Japan. Satsuki means fifth month, which is when the 'Gumpo Pink' starts to flower. It is a small, dense, evergreen shrub with many color combinations on each plant. The large flowers are usually a soft pink on frilled petals.
