'Girard's Caroline'

 

When Azaleas bloom, the flowers are so profuse the entire plant is blanketed with color.  The leaves are usually small, narrow and pointed, often with small hairs on the edges.  The 'Girard's Caroline' is a hardy Azalea with small, brilliant crimson flowers.

 

Bloom Time:  Early to Mid-May (mid season bloom).

Growth Habit:  Rounded, 2' in height, 3' in width.

Foliage:  Green.

Sun/Shade:  Sun, Partial Shade.

Hardiness Zones:  5-10.
